Ask Wynn legal

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 28, 2026

Winsome Marketing ("Winsome Marketing," "we," "us," or "our") operates Ask Wynn (the "Service"), an AI-powered chatbot. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), and any other information you provide during registration.

Chat content. We collect the messages, questions, and other content you submit to the chatbot, along with the responses generated in return ("Chat Content").

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or bank details ourselves — Stripe collects and processes this information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited billing information (such as plan type, transaction status, and the last four digits of your card) to manage your subscription.

Usage and log data. We automatically collect technical information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, and general usage patterns.

Cookies. We may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating chatbot responses
  • Create and manage your account
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service
  • Monitor and improve the Service's performance, reliability, and features
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

AI processing. Chat Content you submit is sent to Anthropic (the provider of the underlying AI model) to generate responses. Anthropic processes this content on our behalf under its own data processing terms. Anthropic states that inputs and outputs from its commercial products are not used to train its generative models unless a customer explicitly opts in or submits material as feedback. See Anthropic's current privacy guidance.

Payment processing. Billing information is shared with Stripe solely to process payments and manage subscriptions.

Service providers. We may share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, and customer support tools, bound by confidentiality obligations.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Winsome Marketing, our users, or the public.

Business transfers. If Winsome Marketing is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4. Data Retention

We retain account information and Chat Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain and use information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 5.

5. Your Privacy Rights (California and Other US State Residents)

If you are a resident of California or another state with a comprehensive privacy law (e.g., Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah), you have the right to:
